HMD Pulse Pro gets Android 15 update, making it first HMD smartphone with the major update!

HMD Global started rolling out Android 15 stable update for it’s Pulse Pro smartphone. The update is released a bit late but now it seems HMD kept it promise and today is the day, the OTA is landing in various regions. The update carries software version v2.370 and weighs in around 3.12GB, further teamed up with latest December 2024 security patches and goodies of Android 15.

If you are already running Android 14.0 on your Android device then you are going to receive the Android 15.0 OTA knock at the your device anytime soon. The Android 15 update for Pulse Pro is released in a staggered manner so gradually all regions will be getting it in a wider spectrum soon.

It’s needless to say the update packs goodies of Android 15 including, big performance improvements, privacy and security upgrades, adaptive battery improvements, and advanced notification control. Apart from visual experience there are multiple under the hood tweaking to improve device performance.

The Pulse Pro come with Android 14 running out of the box and this the first major firmware update released by the company. The company promise further two major upgrade along with 3 years of security update support. If you own a Pulse Pro try to manually grab the update if available. Head towards Settings >> System >> Tap System updates.

Given the size of update it’s better to download it via WiFi or good volume data package. The official updates never erase of restores the device but it is recommended to make a secure backup of your device before heading towards the update process.
