Last year in December, we reported about a Edge 50 Neo and S50 get Android 15 update in China and today Motorola has official released the update for Motorola Edge 50 Neo users in Brazil. Just as expected, the update is packed with new features and enhancements. Carries software version V1UI35H.11-39-5, weighs in around 1.63GB and rolling out at the time we are writing this post.

Earlier Motorola rolled out Android 15 for premium Edge 50 series device, followed by Edge 50 Pro and now Edge 50 Neo making it third in the list. The update has landed in Latin America and users in Brazil have successfully update their device on latest firmware and also shared screenshots on Reddit. Once such image is posted here in this post, the rollout is expected to expand in a wider spectrum soon.

The update is available to all users, regardless of their participation in the Motorola Feedback Network. The screenshots of the update are shared on Reddit, you can see brief list of changes in the new update.

The Motorola Edge 50 series devices come with Android 14 running out of the box and this the first major firmware update released by the company. If you own any of the aforementioned device give it a try to manually grab the update if available. Head towards Settings >> System >> Tap System updates.

Given the size of update it’s better to download it via WiFi or good volume data package. The official updates never erase of restores the device but it is recommended to make a secure backup of your device before heading towards the update process.
