Vivo T3x 5G gets Android 15 with FunTouch OS 15

As we have mentioned earlier in a post that Vivo has the honor of becoming the first company to roll out stable Android 15 OS for it’s devices racing ahead many competitors. The company seeded Android 15 updates released for various model including Vivo 40, Vivo X80 Pro, X100, X90 series along with Vivo T3 Ultra and now the Android 15 update under FunTouch OS 15 is heading towards Vivo T3x 5G.

Talking about the firmware, the Android 15 update for Vivo T3x 5G carries software version PD2353MF_EX_A_15.1.9.1.W30, weighs in hefty 6.9GB and needless to say brings goodies of Android 15 OS. The update is running Vivo’s traditional skin FunTouch OS 15 which further teamed up with December 2024 security patches along with a bunch of under the hood improvements and stability fixes.

Vivo T3x 5G comes with running Android 12 out of the box later got multiple security updates upto Android 14 and now the company pushed out its first major software update, which upgrades the device’s firmware to Android 15. Since it’s a major firmware update so you can expect a bunch of new features with FuntouchOS 15 update including multi-wallpapers and theme support, system enhancements, new clock widgets, redesigned battery charging animation, Link to Windows feature and more.

Added 4 fingerprint recognition animations, providing a rich selection for those seeking personalisation, while also enhancing animation smoothness.

Home Screen

Added Large folder to facilitate home screen app organisation while providing quick access to apps,

Multitasking

Added switching gestures for split-screen and small window modes, allowing you to drag a split-screen to the middle of the screen to switch to a small window, and drag a small window to the edge of an app supporting split-screen to switch to split-screen mode.

Security & Privacy

Added Passkey, which offers a simpler and more secure authentication method compared to passwords. It also supports cross-device sign-in by scanning a code.

Settings

Enhanced the search scope and fuzzy search capability, making it easier to search for features within Settings.

S-capture

Added a three-finger gesture for area screenshot to enhance screenshot efficiency.

Smart Sidebar

Added Screen translation, allowing you to quickly access Google Lens for translation via Smart sidebar, enabling quick translation of on-screen content.

System

Added Priority Scheduling algorithm, which can finely differentiate the priority level and computing power requirements of different apps and tasks to accurately allocate computing power and improve system smoothness.

Themes

Added multiple sets of universal system themes, each featuring appropriate lock screen clock styles and icon styles, allowing you to completely revamp the look of your phone’s interface.
