Xiaomi 13T gets Android 15 based HyperOS 2.0 [OTA is for Mi Pilot Testers only]

Just a few days ago Xiaomi 14T got updated to Android 15, now last’s year upper midranger Xiaomi 13T is getting the perks of Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0. The update is available via OTA for users enrolled in the Mi Pilot Tester Program while broader stable roll out for all users will commence in a few days. The OTA has landed in the Egypt carrying software version OS2.0.2.0.VMFMIXM and weighs in hefty 5.9GB. You’ll also see November 2024 security patch in this update.

What’s New in HyperOS 2.0 for the Xiaomi 13T?

HyperOS 2 brings plethora of new features along with a major UI overhaul for best use experience. You can see a glimpse of features in the screenshot provided below but once you install the update, you’ll notice significant improvements in your device’s performance.

The main improvements held in the system area including new system-wide performance optimization, redesigned animations, better control over system and improved memory management. Apart from that there are bunch of under the hood improvements and fixes.

During the Mi Pilot testing program phase!

As we mentioned earlier that Android 15 update for Xiaomi 13T is currently available only for Mi Pilot Testers! The program is specifically designed for advanced users who can actually test the firmware, observe improvements along with bug fixes and deliver the feedback to the manufacturer.
